United By The Word

Our church is doing this project called United By The Word. With the project there is a schedule to read the entire bible in two years. I have never read the entire bible and am not a big reader but this is something I really want to do. We started at the beginning of the year and I am already behind but not giving up. I just read additional chapters each day I do sit down to read to help get caught up. I'm really enjoying it but it's amazing how even in that time I set aside to focus on God I get distracted and how easily I let something else be first in my mind. I think this is a good challenge to not only learn about the word but keeping our focus on God and having Him foremost in our minds throughout the day.
